Description of Issue

Need AZ School District Employee Total Compensation Statement .

Cause

A new law under House Bill 2268 requires Arizona school districts to provide each employee with an annual Total Compensation Statement. 

Resolution

Requirement can be met using the Total Compensation Report program in Munis.

House Bill 2268 language (Reference https://www.azleg.gov/legtext/55Leg/1R/laws/0260.pdf): 

EACH FISCAL YEAR, PROVIDE TO EACH SCHOOL DISTRICT EMPLOYEE A TOTAL COMPENSATION STATEMENT THAT IS BROKEN DOWN BY CATEGORY OF BENEFIT OR
PAYMENT AND THAT INCLUDES, FOR THAT EMPLOYEE, AT LEAST ALL OF THE FOLLOWING:

31 (a) BASE SALARY AND ANY ADDITIONAL PAY.
32 (b) MEDICAL BENEFITS AND THE VALUE OF ANY EMPLOYER-PAID PORTIONS OF
33 INSURANCE PLAN PREMIUMS.
34 (c) RETIREMENT BENEFIT PLANS, INCLUDING SOCIAL SECURITY.
35 (d) LEGALLY REQUIRED BENEFITS.
36 (e) ANY PAID LEAVE.
37 (f) ANY OTHER PAYMENT MADE TO OR ON BEHALF OF THE EMPLOYEE.
38 (g) ANY OTHER BENEFIT PROVIDED TO THE EMPLOYEE.
