How do I setup the TAXSYNC webservice to send subsequent bills and corrections from the county database to the town?

Cause
Resolution
The TAXSYNC is a VA specific process that will automatically transfer subsequent bill and tax correction information from the County's Enterprise ERP database to the Town/City's Enterprise ERP database.
From the City's EERP Database
- Obtain the web service URL and append /txwshdlr to the end
- Ensure wsuser/ XXXXweb has proper permissions
- Navigate to System Administration > Security > User Attributes
- Search for wsuser (self hosted) or XXXXweb (SaaS), then click Accept
- Ensure that a valid department code is populated in the Department code box
- Left-click on the desired role, then click the Edit Role button at the at the bottom of the screen
- Located in the bottom right column of the Roles screen, select Property Tax Administration
- If the role does not exist, click Add otherwise select Update
- Ensure the following permissions are selected:
- Enter motor vehicle corrections
- Enter personal property corrections
- Enter real estate corrections
- Enter/maintain omitted records
- Enter/maintain supplemental records
- Select Accept
From the County's EERP Database
- Navigate to System Administration> General Administration > System Settings
- Select Application Storage from the ribbon
- Select Update, then Add
- From the Resource ID drop down select TAXSYNC - Sync town tax records
- The Name field should be populated with the Jurisdiction Code in the county database that represent the town
- This is how the system knows which records to send through the webservice
- Populate the URL with city/town's webservice URL
- In the Name box enter wsuser (self hosted) or XXXXweb (SaaS)
- After tabbing through the User ID, you will be prompted to enter a password. Supply the wsuser or XXXXweb password from Devolutions
- Click Accept to save the changes
