• Fund was created incorrectly

• Fund number needs to be reused

• Fund created is not needed

• Fund was created with incorrect Fund number

• I need reuse and existing fund number

If there are no transaction posted:A.

Step 1 Delete the accounts

MUNIS > General Ledger Menu > Set Up Chart of Account > Account Master

1. Click Search

2. Type in the Org, Object, Project or Full Account number

3. Click Accept

4. Click Delete

Step 2 Delete the organization codes

B. MUNIS > General Ledger Menu > Set Up Chart of Accounts > Chart of Account Segments

1. Click Accept

2. Click Change Segment

3. Pick Organization Code in the drop down

4. Click Accept

5. Click Search

6. Type the Fund number in the Fund Segment

7. Click Accept

8. Click Delete, delete all of the Organization codes with the Fund number

Step 3 Delete the Fund

MUNIS > General Ledger Menu > Set Up Chart of Accounts > Chart of Account Segments

1. Click Accept

2. Click Change Segment

3. Pick Fund in the drop down

4. Click Accept

5. Click Search

6. Type the Fund number in the Fund Segment

7. Click Accept

8. Click Delete

Follow the same steps under B. above for all Segments and Objects that aren't , if needed.
