The following steps illustrate how to setup a Live_Builder datasource

  • Refer to site report for Database Server name, this is usually listed as CNAME. 
  • Replace <server_name> and <database_name> in the following template to build the connection string:Data Source=<server_name>;Initial Catalog=<database_name>

    Step-1: Obtain the Enterprise ERP DB servername:

    • For SaaS hosted DB servers in DATACENTER, please refer to your site report for the servername(usually of format xxxxxxx.tylerhost.net) and database name.
    • For SaaS hosted DB servers in AWS, the servername is in format <IP_address>/<Instance_name>, please reach out to EERP Reporting Services support team to obtain this.

    Step-2: Creating the datasource:

    The following steps illustrate how to setup a Live_Builder Datasource

    1. In SSRS URL, click on + New on the top right and select Data SoruceSource 
    2. After providing an appropriate name for this datasoruceDatasource, paste the connection string from Step 2 (below) in the Connection string textbox textbox
      • Data Source=<server_name>;Initial Catalog=<database_name
    3. Under Credential section, select By prompting the user viewing the report for credentials
    4. Select Database user name and password from Type of credentials dropdown
    5. Click Apply
