An Unexpected error occurs in Project Central if the General Ledger Settings option of Use project accounting is not selected or if Project Settings program has not been populated. Confirm your site has purchased the Project/Grant Accounting module, which is designed for using project strings. The General Ledger Settings option Use project accounting can only be turned on by General Ledger Support or Implementation.
Once the flag has been updated by a TylerTech Employee, follow the steps below to establish Project Settings. Once PL Strings are created, modification of these settings is limited. Financials> General Ledger Menu> Project Accounting> Project Ledger> Set Up> Project Settings Click Click Update on the Ribbon Define Define settings as needed Click Click Accept
