The General Ledger permissions Update own journal entries and Update other's others journal entries are required to delete journal entries

To grant the user permission to delete:

System Administration > Security > User Attributes

  1. Click Search, and enter the User's Users ID
  2. Click Accept, and this will bring up the user's users Roles
  3. Highlight which Role that you would like to edit, and then click Edit Roles (may affect multiple users)
  4. Click on the General Ledger section
  5. Click Update
  6. If this user was the one who originally created this Budget Amendment, they will need the permission "Updating own journal entries" checked in order to update that Budget Amendment. If a different user created this Budget Amendment, this user will need the permission " Update others ' journal entries"
  7. Once you check the proper permission, click Accept
  8. Reopen Budget Transfers and Amendments to retry update
