Within Munis System Roles, the support user's role ID must have the appropriate permission for Tyler Notify campaign functionality.

  • Log into your client's Munis environment.

    1. v2018.1 or below clients: utilize the desktop or dashboard application.

    2. v2019.1+ clients: utilize the Tyler Hub web application.

  • From the Tyler Menu, navigate to System AdministrationSecurityRoles.

  • Under the Module View tab of the roles screen, select Munis System from under the General section.

  • From the tool bar at the top of the screen, click the Search icon.

  • Within the Role ID box, select the appropriate role from the dropdown and click Accept.

    1. SaaS clients: XXXXsupp or MUNIS

    2. On-Premises clients: MUNIS

  • Scroll down to the Tyler Notify section of the role.

  • Verify that the "Allowed to submit Tyler Notify campaigns" box has been checked off.

  • If the option has been checked off already, then no further role changes are required.

  • If the option has not been checked off:

  • From the tool bar, click Update.

  • Check off the box.

  • Click Accept.
    1. From the target Tyler Cloud Portal enterprise launcher page click the Notify application
    2. Click Campaigns from the side menu
    3. Click the add button (+ symbol ) to create a new campaign.  The Create a campaign dialog should appear
    4. Select Munis User Notifications Tyler Testing from the template dropdown and click Create
    5. The campaign should already contain all necessary messaging and configuration.  Click Create again
    6. Click the right arrow (>) next to the campaign's title to reopen it
    7. Open the Recipients tab
    8. Drag and drop the RecipientsSampleUpload.xlsx file on to the drop target
    9. Confirm it contains your contact information, and only your contact information
    10. Click the ellipses in the upper-right-hand corner of the campaign window and choose Start. Thee campaign should begin as long as the current time is in within the bounds of the notification schedule the Main tab
    11. Watch for the email, text message and phone call to come in
