Description of Issue

Import file with serial numbers and capital assets included does not update the capital asset serial number in Assets program

Context

  • Capital Assets 
Cause

EAM Asset record is tied to a Capital Asset record

Resolution
  • Assets program will show the linked Capital Asset serial number
  • Asset Registry includes field for EAM serial number and Capital Asset serial number
