What is the purpose of the Project Accounts Apply option in Budget Transfer and Amendments

Program help indicates the following description for option Project Accounts Apply:

• Instructs the program to include project accounts when making the transfer or amendment, when selected.

• Clearing the checkbox indicates that you are separating the project accounts from the transfer and amendment process

  • However, you can still enter project account strings when you select the accounts on the Budget Amendment Detail screen.

• If project strings are applied, the program automatically selects the checkbox upon returning to the header screen.

The flag is used to make it obvious from the header if project string are in the detail, though users are not forced to enter them if they manually set the flag

Users can right click on column headers and hide/display as needed
