Resolution

To allow miscellaneous receipting via Resident Access, General Billing must first be enabled in Resident Access Administration. Then, verify or create at least one category 2 charge code with Available for Citizen Self Service enabled in Accounts Receivable Charge Codes. 

General Revenues > Accounts Receivable > Setup > Resident Access Administration

  1. Click Update

  2. Check the box for Enable General Billing in Resident Access

  3. Click Accept

General Revenues > Accounts Receivable > Setup > Accounts Receivable Charge Codes

  1. Click Search

  2. Search for an active category 2 charge code in the current fiscal year, or click Add to create one

  3. Click Update

  4. Check the box for Available for Citizen Self Service

  5. Click Accept
