Project Central- Assign map location to Project code

How can I assign a physical location to a Project Code?

• MapView

Financials > General Ledger Menu > Project Accounting > Project Ledger > Projects Inquiry > Project Master

1. Click Map

2. Select Sketch from the top right

   1. User the Current Tool selection to select the desired Sketch tool

      1. Point, Polygon, Rectangle, and Circle selections can be assigned to projects. Text, Line, and Freehand are not supported for attaching to projects

3. Select your desired point or shape on the map. Click and drag to determine the selection size

4. Click Feature List from the top right of the map

5. Click on the newly added shape or point on the map

   1. Do not select from the list of projects that appears. This is a list of currently mapped items.

6. Click + in the lower left hand corner

7. Enter desired Project Code

8. Click Assign

Geometry linking is limited to a 1:1 ratio, if multiple projects utilize the same location additional geometry will need to be added to the map.
