Unexpected GEN journal in Proof and not sure where it came from
Context
General Journal Entry/Proof
Recurring Journal Entry/Generate
Cause
Journal was mistakenly generated while working in Recurring Journal Entry/Generate program
Resolution
The GEN journal can be deleted from General Journal Entry/Proof
Financials > General Ledger Menu > Journal Entry/History > General Journal Entry/Proof
Search for the journal (year, period, journal number)
Use the Delete function in the ribbon to delete the journal
