No prior year W2 form templates available

Prior year W-2 forms not available for ReadyForms. Missing prior year W-2 Templates.

Prior year Templates are not automatically loaded when converting to ReadyForms or Enterprise Forms, they must be manually added for previous years. Each year has a slightly different IRS approved formatted layout so it is important to use templates that are specific to the applicable year.

A new template will need to be created for each prior year. 

1. Navigate to Tyler Menu > ReadyForms > ReadyForms Administration
2. Select the Payroll dropdown within the left-hand side menu
3. Select the W2 template from that subcategory menu
4. In the bottom right-hand corner, click the yellow + to create the new template
5. Give your template a year description and select from the available layouts
   1. Standard layout is the 8 1/2 x 11 cut sheet layout
   2. V Fold is the 8 1/2 x 11 pressure sealed layout
   3. Z Fold is the 8 1/2 x 14 legal sized pressure sealed layout
6. Under configuration options, choose the PCL option for physically printing, or choose the PDF option for archiving, downloading, or emailing
7. Under Advanced Options, you can designate tray selections for check printing, or choose whether or not the document processes as individual files or a large single packet
8. When complete, click the Save button in the bottom right-hand corner of the template window
9. A Delivery Definition will need to be created for each year's templates as well: Year End Tax ReadyForms Delivery Definition
