Looking for a GL report that shows journal Post Date



Context

Account Inquiry

Munis versions 2021.1 and up



Cause




Resolution

Account detail including journal Post Date can be exported to Excel from Account Inquiry.  

Financials > General Ledger Menu > Inquiries and Reports > Account Inquiry

  1. Search for account and click the Detail Folder for desired transaction type

  2. Click Excel and then select Detail

  3. Make sure all needed folders are selected including Post Date and click Accept to generate report



Additional Information

  • The option to export journal Post Date was added in version 2021; lower versions of Munis do not have the functionality to export Post Date.

  • A search can be done in Journal Inquiry/Print for a certain post date, but the Excel filter does not have an option for post date to output the results to a report.
