Description of Issue

How do we get the REF*17 segment to show in our 834 file?



Context

  • Employee Benefits 834 Export

  • REF*17 Segment



Cause

OP4 > OP1410 - Include Member Policy Numbers is set to N.



Resolution

  1. To enable, navigate to the program Employee Benefits 834 Export.

    • Menu > Human Capital Management > Benefits Administration > Benefits Enrollment > Employee Benefits 834 Export

  2. Click the option 834 File.

  3. Select the OP4 segment.

  4. Select the OP401 element.

  5. Click Update.

  6. Switch the value from N to Y.

  7. Click Accept to save the changes.
