Cause

Resolution

The tcmadmin account, typically displayed on Site Reports as tcmadmin, is a service account utilized to process and archive attachments from integrating products (such as Tyler Forms and Cashiering) into TCM. It is also utilized within Munis to sync users and reset the master password. It should not be utilized to login to the TCM Full Client as it will not have proper permissions. This has more recently been transitioned to individual service integration IDs: Content Manager Service Integration Accounts

The admin account, typically displayed on Site Reports as admin (TCM), is intended for use by support teams (such as TSM, CM Support for ERP, and TCM Support) to sign into the TCM Full Client and have full administrative rights.

Site admins should use their own individual admin IDs, and not the admin (TCM) ID, for auditing and security purposes: How to create an Administration account for the TCM Full Client
