Configure Cashiering to Email Receipts

How do we setup TC to email receipts

Cause

Resolution
  1. Log into Cashiering with an administrator account

  2. Navigate to Administration > Settings

  3. Click the Email Tab 

    1. In the Host field, enter the SMTP server name 

    2. In the Port field, enter the port number

    3. In the From Email Address field, Enter the email address identified as the host sent from email message 

    4. In the Access ID field, Enter the SMTP Access ID if required by the server

      1. Note: this is not required for port 25

    5. In the Access Password field, Enter the SMTP Password if required by the server

      1. Note: this is not required for port 25

    6. In the Email Template tab, Select the Receipt Template from the dropdown menu 

  4. Click the Receipting tab

    1. Toggle on Send receipts via email

  5. Click Save  



Additional Information

If using port 25, leave the Access ID and Access Password fields blank.
