Granting Permissions for Projection Start and Status

I need to grant permissions for a user to access Projection Start and Status

• Payroll

• Salary and Benefit Projections

• Roles

To grant permission, a system administrator should take the following steps.

1.  Access the Roles Program (System Administration> Security>Roles)

2. Select Search. Enter the Role you want to modify. Click Accept.

3. Click on the Menu Security tab

4. Make sure the Access Box is flagged along the menu path to and including Salary and Benefit Projections (Human Resources Payroll/Payroll > Human Resources > Position Control and Budgeting > Salary and Benefit Projections).

   1. Check the four programs under the Salary and Benefit Projection sub-menu: Projection Start and Status, Projection Salary Processing, Projection Benefit Processing and Post Projection.

5. Verify the user has the necessary level of data access.  

   1. In Role Maintenance, on the Module View tab, click in the HR Management / Payroll folder.

   2. Review the data access assigned to the role, paying close attention to the Org and Location fields.

6. Verify the user has the necessary level of Category Access

   1. Click Category Access tab. Under Projection column, select desired levels for the user.
