How to restore a deleted budget projection

How to restore a deleted budget projection

Description of Issue

We deleted the wrong budget projection, how can we restore it?

Context
  • Budget

  • Projection

  • Restore

  • Delete

Cause

Deleted the wrong budget projection

Resolution

If the Budget projection exists in another database or in a recent backup the information can be retrieved.

  1. Review other databases to verify if the projection can be found.

  2. Determine if there is a back up that has the projection in it that can be used to refresh Training or Test.

  3. Once the projection can be found in Training or Test it can be exported and then imported into Live.

However, if the Budget projection does NOT exist in another database or in a recent backup it is deleted. MUNIS does not store that data anywhere so the projection will need to be re-created.
