Cannot uncheck Add to Base in Employee Job Salary
Description of Issue
Add to Base has been unchecked in Pay Master, but when I try to uncheck that box in Employee Job/Salary, it is grayed out.Â

Cause
The Add to Base option was checked in Pay Master when the pay code was added in Employee Job/Salary.
Resolution
The pay code will need to be deleted and re-added in Employee Job/Salary.
- Go to Employee Job/Salary (Payroll>Employee Maintenance>Employee Job/Salary)
- Search for the Employee and Pay Code. Click Delete in the toolbar.Â
- If in versions 2018.1 and higher, all instances of the pay code will need to be deleted.
- Click Add. Define applicable fields. Click Accept.Â
- The Add to Base checkbox will now show unchecked from Pay Master.
