Remove role from munis user

How can I remove role from a user?

Cause

Role is no longer needed on a user or group of users

Resolution
  • To remove 1 or more roles, please follow the steps below. This will un-link the role from the user and will not remove the user or the role from the database. 
  • Clicking delete in the ribbon of either of these programs will remove the selected item from the database.  Deleting roles can not be undone.

Perform adjustment directly from the role and adjust users assigned to the role

  1. Browse to Enterprise ERP > System Administration  > Security > Roles
  2.  Search  for the desired role
  3. Click Assigned Users 
  4. Highlight the user that you would like to remove this role form
  5. Click Remove User Assignment
  6. Click Yes
    1. If all users should be removed, click Remove ALL Assignments 

Perform adjustment from User Attributes on that user's ID

  1. Browse to Enterprise ERP >Munis >System Administration  > Security > User Attributes
  2. Search for the user that needs a role removed
  3. Highlight the role that you would like to remove
  4. In the Roles box, click Delete. This is not a EERP ribbon item, it is just above the filter active set fields.
  5. Click Yes Remove
