Importing the COA using glqsimpt

How to run the glqsimpt utility.

Cause

The Chart of Accounts needs to be imported into Munis.  This process utilizes the glqsimpt utility.

Resolution

Tyler Menu > System Administration > Miscellaneous Administration > System Update

  1. Click Define Update Options
  2. In Utility/Program ID enter glqsimpt
  3. Click Accept
  4. Click Run System Update
  5. Click Yes to confirm running the utility
  6. Click Select File
    1. If running for Long Account file check Long Account Import
  7. Click the Magnifying Glass
  8. Select the file to import
  9. Click Import File
