Unable to submit IL Employment Security Report to Illinois Department of Employment Security (IDES)

Cause

First time submitting the IL Employment Security Report to IDES


Resolution

Once the IL Employment Security Report has been created:

  1. Navigate to https://www2.illinois.gov/ides/Pages/default.aspx
  2. Login to MyTax Illinois and scroll down to the Unemployment Insurance section
  3. Select the View All Account Options link on the right hand side of the screen
  4. On the following screen select Upload Quarterly ICESA file
  5. Follow the workflow through each screen and e-Sign the submission
