Cause
Error in a Munis module putting Entity assigned to GL Account in question
Resolution
- Browse Munis > Financials > General Ledger Menu > Set Up / Chart of Accounts > Account Master
- Select Search
- Enter record selection criteria
- Accept
- Confirm the needed account is displayed and review listed Entity Code assigned.
- Sites that do not utilize Entity Codes will default to Entity 1 and field will not be accessable
Additional Information
- Entity Field will only be accessible if site is configured to utilize Entities
- Entities are not something a site should perform without serious internal discussion and is usually rolled out during or with assistance from Implementation Support
General Maintenance on Accounts GL Role Permission is required to modify Account Master fields
- Users limited by Munis System Role Permissions for Entity
- GL Account Global Update can also be used to make this update on one or a range of GL Account Codes.
