How does Tyler Use BeyondTrust?
- A Jump Client is installed on your primary application server during hardware migrations or upgrades
- This allows Tyler staff to remotely access servers for support and scheduled work without needing IT staff assistance
What is a jump client?
- A small application enabling secure, unattended remote access to servers and devices, regardless of location
- It ensures persistent connectivity, allowing support for Windows, Mac, Linux, iPads, and Android devices

What if I don't want to use this service?
- You can disable the Jump Client anytime:
  1. Open the Windows Services control panel (services.msc)
  2. Find BeyondTrust Jump Client
  3. Right-click, select Properties, and set Startup Type to Manual
  4. To re-enable access, start the service when needed
