Description of Issue

While running the Accrual Payroll Buyout for all Terminated and Retired Employees, an active employee was paid out their accruals.

Cause

Employee had a Permanent Pension Date in the Employee Master program that fell within the payroll period the Accrual Payroll Buyout program was run, and the Retired checkbox was marked off in the Accrual Payroll Buyout program.

Resolution

To give the employee back the Accrual time that got removed:

Go to the Employee Accruals program (Human Capital Management> Payroll> Employee Maintenance>Employee Accruals)
Search for the employee's number, and define the Accruals, and click Accept.
Click History in the top ribbon.
Click Add in the top ribbon and add the accrual amounts back to the employee.

To update the Employee's permanent date:

Go to Employee Master (Human Capital Management> Payroll> Employee Maintenance> Employee Master)
Click Search, and search by the Employee Number, click Accept.
Go to the Dates tab, and click Update.
Remove the date information in the Permanent Date field.
Click Accept.

Additional Information

To void incorrect payout amount, use Void and Reissue Payroll Check. Overpayment will need to be collected outside of EERP.
