Requisitions will not save allocations

Requisitions will not save allocations

Description of Issue

In Requisitions, you have added multiple allocations to a requisition, but you are unable to save it. The Save button is not greyed out, but when you press it, it does not save. You also do not see any codes in the GL Bud column.

Context
  • Requisitions

  • Allocations

  • GL Budget Check

Cause

The Requisitions program is not properly checking the budget when adding more than 2 allocation lines to a requisition.

Resolution
  • There has been some success when you delete the allocation lines, and reenter them in another order.

  • You can also try to click into the last line that had a proper budget check and tab through the rest of the allocation lines to force the budget check.

  • Lastly, you add can two allocation lines, save the requisition, and then go back and add the rest.

If none of those resolutions are successful, add the allocations in Requisition Entry.

Additional Information

There is a research MUN with development to look into this issue.
