Description of Issue

Context

  • Menu Settings (menusetu)

  • Tyler Menu

  • System Administration 

Cause

  • An existing program has a new 8-character designation that needs to be added to the Tyler menu

  • A new program that did not previously exist needs to be added to the Tyler menu

Resolution

Adding custom entry programs:

  1. Navigate to System Administration > General Administration > Menu Settings

  2. Highlight the relevant menu items and click Forward, continue until the desired menu item(s) are highlighted

  3. Click Update, click Accept

  4. Click Add

  5. Click Tab

  6. Enter program ID

  7. Click Tab

  8. Set parameter if needed

  9. Click Tab

  10. Enter in a caption 

  11. Click Accept

  12. Click Apply Now

  13. Click Ok to the dialogue box

  14. Refresh the Tyler Menu by clicking Refresh in the Tyler Menu. The new menu option should now be visible.
