Designed to:

• Request MEPIDs from MA DESE using an Export that creates a file in accordance with DESE specifications.

• Create records in the MA DESE EPIMS Employee Maintenance program using an Import, and a file provided by DESE.

• Update records in the MA DESE EPIMS Employee Maintenance program with a valid MEPID, using an Import and a file provided by DESE. 

• Department of Elementary and Secondary Education (DESE)

• Massachusetts Education Personnel ID (MEPID)

• MEPIDs were developed as part of the Education Personnel Information Management System (EPIMS)
