Account entity is not compatible with your entity

When creating a journal, user gets error message: Account entity is not compatible with your entity.

• General Journal Entry/Proof

• Entity Codes

• Account Master

The journal includes accounts that use an entity code outside of the user's Entity code restriction

To change user's Entity code restriction:

Enterprise ERP > System Administration > Security > Roles

1. Click Search

2. Enter Role credentials

3. Click Accept

4. Click Munis System

5. Click Update

6. Click dropdown menu next to Entity code restriction

7. Select the desired entity code

An account's assigned entity code can be reviewed in the Account Master program.
