Checking the Balloon box in Employee Job Salary

How necessary is the Balloon Check Box on the Employee Job/Salary? We check that box on the employee's regular recurring pay, however they also have Longevity, and Stipends that occur regularly. Do all those pay codes need that balloon box checked, in order to capture those pay codes in a Balloon Run Type Payroll?

Yes, this box must be checked to generate those pays into a Balloon Payroll.  To check this box:

1. Open Employee Job/Salary (Human Capital Management > Payroll > Employee Maintenance > Employee Job/Salary)

2. Search for the job salary record

3. Click Update

4. Click the Cycles/Other tab

5. Check the Balloon box

6. Click Accept
