Description of Issue

Recurring journals were scheduled but cannot be found after email received

Context

  • Recurring Journal Entry/Generate

  • General Journal Entry/Proof

  • Accounting Entries

Cause

The recurring journal process does not automatically create the journal when scheduled.

Resolution

To generate a recurring journal entry:

  1. Navigate to Financials>General Ledger Menu>Journal Entry/History>Recurring Journal Entry/Generate

  2. Search or Browse to find the needed journal

  3. Click Generate

  4. Click Accept

  5. Click Gen Journal or Gen Journals

  6. Click Yes or Continue

Once generated, the GCR journal can be viewed and posted in General Journal Entry/Proof or Accounting Entries.
