Mass assign Auto Deduction

Client requested assistance with setting up a Auto deduction for all employee's

Cause

Resolution

Using the Employee Mapping table is the easiest way to mass assign a Auto Deduction. If you do not have access to this tool please contact Time & Attendance Support.

  1. Login to Time & Attendance with Admin Access

  2. Click System Configuration

  3. Click Admin

  4. Scroll down and click Employee Mapping Table

  5. Scroll Down to Auto deduct threshold 

  6. Set the threshold in the Populate field with default value (example 6.5)

  7. Set Update this field to Yes

  8. Set Update for Rehires to Yes

  9. in the Payroll system field name leave blank

  10. Select the dropdown for Payroll System data type and set it to String

  11. Repeat these Steps for Auto Deduct Time

  12. Scroll down and click Save

  13. Click Tyler Integrations

  14. Run Job 5 Employee When the job finishes running screen will refresh

  15. Click System Admin

  16. Click Master File Management

  17. Click Employee

  18. Click the Edit Pencil Icon for any employee

  19. Click Pay properties

  20. Verify the Auto Deduct threshold and Time are set
