Description of Issue

  • Trying to remote a fee on a bill that has been liened 

  • Trying to waive/adjust Demand Fee to $0.00 on a Cat 60 bill, through Bill Adjustments, that has been taken into lien. Fee was not included in the original lien by error. When attempting error occurs:

Unable to make any updates to the bill because it has been liened.

Context

  • Transfer Delinquent to Tax 

  • Bill Adjustments

  • Over-Short adjustment process

Cause

Bill was liened and user can not update amounts.

Resolution

Use the over-short adjustment process to write off the amount.
