Projection Employee Job/Salary shows grade and step but annual amount of zero

An employee assigned to a vacant Position in Salary and Benefit Projections is showing a Grade and Step in Projection Employee Job/Salary, but the annual amount is 0 for the employee pay. 

• Payroll
• Projection Start and Status
• Projection Employee Job/Salary
• Projection Salary Tables

The annual amount listed for the step was 0 in Projection Salary Tables.

If the step is incorrect:

1. Go to Payroll>Salary and Benefit Projections>Projection Salary Processing>Projection Employee Job/Salary.
2. Search for Employee.
3. Click Update.
4. TAB down and update Step amount.
5. Click Accept. 

If the step is correct but there should be an amount:

1. Go to Payroll>Salary and Benefit Projections>Projection Salary Processing>Projection Salary Tables.
2. Search for applicable table. 
3. Click Update.
4. TAB down to Step and update amount. 
5. Click Accept. 
6. Go to Payroll>Salary and Benefit Projections>Projection Salary Processing>Projection Employee Job/Salary.
7. Search for Employee.
8. Click Delete.
9. Click Add. 
10. Enter Employee information and correct Grade/Step.
11. Click Accept.
