Multiyear fund budget checking

• Multiyear funds are looking at the Life available instead of the appropriate year column for budget checking. This is incorrect.
• Over budget warnings on Multiyear funds.

The type of Multiyear fund determines where MUNIS will look to for the Available budget checking.

Financials > General Ledger Menu > Set up chart of accounts > Chart of Account Segments

Click on Accept

Click on the Fund in the list

The Budget multiyear fund annually setting determines how MUNIS calculates the available budget when transactions are entered.

• Life to date column - the 'Budget multiyear fund annually' is NOT checked. MUNIS will use the available in the Life column for the budget check.
• Yearly column - the 'Budget multiyear fund annually' IS checked. MUNIS will use the yearly available for the budget check.
