Description of Issue

Post update to both eagle-client-additional-trusted-root and eagle-server-additional-trusted-root certificate client states when attempting to launch TCM Full client they still receive a PKIX error.

Context
  • Tyler Content Manager (TCM)
  • Cached shortcut
Cause

Client is using an old cached shortcut prior to the certificate being updated.

Resolution
  1. Delete the current TCM full client shortcut:
    1. Press shift+delete on the icon to permanently delete the shortcut
      1. If it goes to the recycle bin ensure to delete from the recycle bin
  2. Using Chrome or Edge open Incognito/Private mode and navigate to the TCM full client URL:
    1. Click the JLINK option to download the full client
  3. Launch TCM full client:
    1. If PKIX error occurs proceed to step 4.
  4. Purge the empirecache folder by navigating to the Windows user desktop profile located at:
    1. C:\users\*username folder*
      1. Ex. C:\users\Paul.Chung\empirecache
  5. Repeat steps 1-3
