Cause

When a journal is posted in MUNIS a specific Journal Source is attached to that item which specifies which program it was posted from. 

Resolution
  • In the Journal Source Maintenance program, the Help screen provides a complete list of Journal Source codes with an explanation of Module and Program as well as Journal Reference fields.

General Ledger Menu> Set Up/Chart of Accounts> Journal Source Maintenance
