Installing Honeywell Scanner Tyler Cashiering 2019.1 and up

This article covers the installation process for the Honeywell Scanner for Tyler Cashiering 2019.1+

1. Connect scanner to PC
2. In Device Manager, verify that under POS Barcode Scanner you see POS HID Barcode scanner, while not the correct driver, this is what you want to see for now
3. Scan the QR code below to configure the scanner for all Tyler Cashiering scan lines and put it in COM port emulation mode
   
   
   
4. In Device Manager, verify that under Ports (COM & LPT) you see USB Serial Device (COM#). You will want to look at the scanner in Devices and Printers and verify that the COM port # there matches the COM port # you see in Device Manager
5. Add the scanner into the Hardware Console and update the COM port # to reflect what you see in Device Manager
6. Verify functionality within Tyler Cashiering
