Description of Issue

How do I correctly apply the DIA filter?

Context
  • Data Condition Error
  • Upgrade Preparation
  • Refresh Databases between Munis versions
  • MIU Load Code Errors
Cause

Errors display on Data Integrity Assistant and site needs to confirm which need to be fixed or ignored

Resolution
  1. Browse Munis > System Administration >  General Administration > Munis Data Integrity Assistant
  2. Select the filter icon that looks like a funnel
  3. Category field to drop down and make selection options
    1. Upgrade Preparation xx.x specific version site is currently on in Live production database. Example 11.3
    2. Continue and repeat and add one filter line for each Upgrade Preparation version in between current and destination version of Munis
    3. Upgrade Preparation xxxx.x to version site is upgrading to. Example 2019.1
      • Sites upgrading to the highest and most recent version of Munis can use the 'Upgrade Preparation' option with no version listed next to it as the final option.
  4. Apply
  5. Expand + to run the error list though the filter and limited to only data conditions that need correcting
Additional Information
  • DIA Filter ensures a site only concentrates on needed errors
  • When sites upgrade skipping multiple versions higher versions may not have a problem with data conditions earlier versions would
  • Updating DIA Filter will make user start over on error review for any unapplied error corrections
