Description of Issue

When in Employee Master and I click Detail in the toolbar, when I click on Retirement, I want that to take me to the NY retirement program. 

Context
  • Payroll

  • NY Retirement Employee Maintenance 
Cause

State code was not defined in Payroll Control Setting for, General - State Code for Retirement System.

Resolution
  1. Go to Payroll Control Settings (Payroll>Payroll Setup>Payroll Control Settings)
  2. Double click on the setting for General - State Code for Retirement System.
  3. Click Update. Define NY as the value. Click Accept
  4. When in Employee Master (Payroll>Employee Maintenance>Employee Master) click Detail in the toolbar. 
  5. Click Retirement then click Accept
  6. Retirement shortcut will take user directly to the NY Employee Retirement Maintenance program.
Additional Information

The Retirement option in the Detail of Employee Master is just a shortcut to the NY Employee Retirement Maintenance Program, which can also be found by using the menu path, Payroll>State Specific>Northeast>New York>NY Employee Retirement Maintenance.
