Description of Issue

What are the steps to access the TCM Full Client?

Context

  • Munis

  • Tyler Content Manager 

  • TCM

Cause

Resolution

There are two ways the TCM Full Client can be accessed.

  • From the Tyler Menu:

    1. Navigate to System Administration > General Administration > TylerCM for Munis Settings

    2. Launch the first Document Explorer URL link in a new tab

    3. The TCM Full Client launch screen will be presented and can be launched either using the J-link option (does not require Java to be installed) or the Webstart option (uses Java if installed on the given workstation).

  • From the TCM HTML Viewer Panel:

    1. From the TCM HTML Viewer (when viewing any given document in TCM through Munis), select the first part of the URL up to the word viewer

    2. Paste this URL into a new tab 

    3. The TCM Full Client launch screen will be presented and can be launched either using the J-link option (does not require Java to be installed) or the Webstart option (uses Java if installed on the given workstation).

If the Full Client is not launching or if further assistance is needed beyond the steps provided, please contact TCM Support.
