Use the following steps to create the newspaper advertising list,

  1.  Navigate to Property Revenues > Property Tax Billing > South > North Carolina > Collection Reports > Advertising List.

  2. Click Define.

  3. In the Minimum balance field, specify the minimum bill amount required on a bill for the record to be included in the advertising list.

    1. The default amount is the amount established in Tax Settings.

  4. Optional: Select a Jurisdiction code from the drop down menu.  Leave blank to select all.

  5. Optional: Select Exclude if in selected set for Special condition codes.

    1. Note: if you choose this option, then you must click on the Selected (0) hyperlink to select which special condition codes to exclude.

  6. In the To date for interest calculation field, enter in the date you wish to calculate interest.

  7. Enter in your Advertising fee charge code.  You can use the field help to search for this, if needed.

    1. Amount will auto populate from the Advertising charge code fee selected.

  8. Click Accept.

  9. Click Select.

  10. Click Export to create the file to send to the Newspaper Company.  The export file will save to Saved Reports.

  • Select Output, Print, Display, PDF or Save to generate a report of records selected.

  • If you choose to generate this report, select Nontransferred or Transferred.  Report will save to Saved Reports.
