How do I correctly apply the DIA filter?

Is there a way to see only the Munis Data Integrity Assistant (DIA) conditions that will impact the version we are upgrading to?

  1. Browse to Munis > System Administration >  General Administration > Munis Data Integrity Assistant
  2. Filter visible conditions by selecting the filter icon on the left that looks like a funnel
  3. Under Category, use the drop down to make selections
    1. Select Upgrade Preparation → xx.x where xx.x is the specific version the environment is currently on (Ex: 11.3)
    2. If applicable, repeat and add a filter line for each Upgrade Preparation version in between current and destination version of Munis
    3. Select Upgrade Preparation →  xxxx.x where xxxx.x is the version you are upgrading to (Ex: 2019.1)
      1. Note: Sites upgrading to the highest and most recent version of Munis can select Upgrade Preparation with no version listed next to it as the final option.
  4. Click Accept
    1. The error list is now limited to only data conditions that need correcting
  5. Click the plus icon to expand nodes
  6. Use the green arrows to jump to the next node with rows in need of attention

titleAdditional Information
  • DIA Filter ensures a site only concentrates on needed errors
  • When sites upgrade Munis and are skipping multiple versions at once, higher versions may not have a problem with data conditions that earlier versions would
  • Updating DIA Filter will make user start over on error review for any unapplied error corrections
