In the User Attributes program, a System Administrator can update GL Data Access Org ranges to allow a user to access more accounts. System Administration> Security> User Attributes - Search and enter user criteria
- Accept
- Select a role that already grants limited General Ledger data access that can be updated for all users in the role.
- Click Edit Role
- Select General Ledger folder
- Scroll down to Data Access and click on the yellow folder next to Limited
- Click Update to add Orgs to an existing record or Add to create a new record. If other segments are on record, use of Org will be restricted to use with ranges of Obj or other segment listed.
- For new records or if needed on an existing record, click Select Programs and choose program(s).
- Accept
- User needs to re-open or refresh program before updated permissions will apply.
