The Update Paid Parcels program reviews the unpaid balance for each parcel in the current tax sale year. Property owners are encouraged to pay delinquencies before the tax sale date to avoid the auction. The program determines if bills have been paid. If processed, it updates the initial lien with a Hold/Removed flag of 'R', which removes the parcel from further tax sale processing and reports. Note: The Update Paid Parcels program should be run regularly, either nightly or weekly, to determine if bills have been paid.
