InstallationDownload the Tyler Cashiering Installation package from the Community Pages
at at https://tylercommunity.tylertech.com/cashiering/m/downloads/35856 Extract the “ManualHardwareDriversV3” directory from the zip to a temp folder on the PC (i.e. C:\temp). Open the “<TEMPDIR>\ManualHardwareDriversV3\Xenon1900\HSM USB Serial Driver ver 3.1.4” directory. Right-click

Click Click Next through the remaining screens until installation is complete
Once the install is done, connect the scanner to the PC and wait for Windows to detect and install the 19xx scanner. After connecting the scanner but before scanning the QR Code in step 6, Device Manager will show the scanner under POS Barcode Scanner as POS HID Barcode scanner. This is normal at this point, but the QR in step 6 must be used to switch it to COM port use to work correctly with Cashiering’s Hardware Console.
In order to begin with a known starting point, it's a good idea to reset the scanner back to its defaults before adding further programming for use with Tyler apps. To reset to default, first scan the top “Remove Custom Defaults” bar code, then scan the “Activate Defaults” bar code

This QR sets USB COM port emulation (CDC ACM) (default is USB PC keyboard) Beeper volume setting: Low (default is high) OCR Template Selection: “User and Internal MICR E-138 Templates” (default is “User Template Only”) OCR: “OCR On – Normal Video” (default is OCR Off) OCR Template: “135E320 “ (default is “13777777770”). This setting specifies both OCR-A and OCR-B, only Numeric values, 32 characters. Suffix Command Value: 990D0A (default is NULL)

In Windows Device Manager > Ports (COM & LPT) note the number of the new COM port that the scanner was setup on using the above QR. This will be required to setup the scanner in Tyler Cashiering. Note the wording “Xenon 1900 Area-Imaging Scanner” may be different. If ambiguous as to which port, you can unplug the scanner, observe which one disappears, then plug it in again.

Setup and Test in Tyler Cashiering
Navigate to Administration > Payment Types Locate applicable payment type and click

OptionsPresentation Mode Scan the Presentation Mode barcode below if the scanner will be in stand, or any other situation where it should always be on.
