  1.  Navigate Reference Moving Employee Master records to the Terminated Employee Master.
  2. Confirm you are certain you will no longer need to include these employees in any EERP processing, or reporting going forward. 
  3. If you are certain, navigate to Payroll>Employee Maintenance>Employee Master
  4. Click on Dates tab
  5. Search for all employees inactivated before 7/21/2021 by entering <07012021 in the Inactive field
  6. Click Accept
  7. Click Terminate in tool bar
  8. Review report to see which employees will and will not be moved to terminated set
    1. Top section will show employees who will be terminated. 
    2. Bottom section will show employees who will not be terminated, and the reasons why
      1. CY - An employee with pay/deductions in the current year cannot be terminated.
      2. LY - Employee has pay/deductions from prior year. For W2/1099 reasons this employee cannot be terminated until February 1.
      3. EC - Employee has an incomplete checklist.
  9. After reviewing report, return to Employee Master and click Yes to Move the eligible employee(s) to the Terminated set?

  • The system will not terminate anyone who has accumulators from a year for which W-2s have not yet been processed. Employees in the Terminated Employee Master  will no longer show up in the Detail Check History Report. Run the Terminated Employee Detail History to pull payroll history data for anyone in the Terminated Files.
