To restart Apache Services please follow the steps below. Please keep in mind that restarting Apache services will take down TCM for that environment for several minutes while it restarts, and will take a few minutes to fully come back up. It is best to restart Apache Services after hours and only during the day if it is necessary.

Option 1:

  1. Sign on to the TCM server with an administrative account- typically Tylerservice or equivalent

  2. Open Services

  3. Navigate to the appropriate Apache Tomcat instance> right click> restart services

  4. Let the service restart successfully then test TCM functionality. It may take a few extra minutes after the restart for TCM to fully come back up

Option 2 (If your site uses Tyler Deploy):

  1. Sign into Tyler Deploy

  2. Click on the Menu icon on the top left

  3. Navigate to Product Deployments> Tyler Content Manger

  4. Select environment

  5. Click on the Tasks tab and select Restart Tomcat then Run

If you have any issues or need assistance please contact Tyler Systems Management
